  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and yeast. Add the warm water and mix until a dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, adding more flour if necessary, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  3. Form the dough into a ball and place it in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover with a clean towel and let it rest for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven to heat.
  5. Once the dough has rested, roll it out on a lightly floured surface into a 12-inch circle.
  6. Carefully transfer the dough to the heated pizza stone or baking sheet.
  7. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edge. Arrange the mozzarella slices evenly over the sauce.
  8. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove the pizza from the oven and immediately sprinkle with fresh basil leaves. Season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with a little olive oil.
  10. Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
